I established S. I. Copywriting in the late-summer season of 2013 because I realized a growing need in the small business sector — several entrepreneurs were building and designing their own websites, however, they were outsourcing the written web copy requirements to freelance writers like myself.
I provide my clients with compelling web copy that exudes professionalism and reads with eloquence. Whether long and informative or short-and-sweet, to the point, I deliver a variety of online and print freelance writing services formed under the guidelines of project requirements set-forth by my clients.
The do-it-yourself approach to web design is a worthwhile idea for any entrepreneur who is capable of working with a template to create an attractive, professional-looking website. And, as an entrepreneur, you may also be a good writer who understands the difference between search engine friendly online content and the writing style you’ve used in the past to write college or university essays. In which case, your company website can be completed by yourself, allowing you to save money (which is always good).
However, some entrepreneurs don’t want to write the web copy for their own website, and that is understandable, too. I don’t do my own taxes because I’m not an accountant, therefore, I comprehend why some business owners prefer to outsource copywriting to a professional.
I have a growing client base that features established businesses with thousands of online followers, businesses that have been operational for more than fifty-years, and start-ups who only just began their journey.
My process is simple: I require a briefing from clients. The briefing consists of point-form notes or a summary containing the key-points required in the web copy or other freelance writing services requested. Once received, I go-to-work creating original, well-written content that meets the requirements of my clients. I offer revisions on all my work, ensuring the final edit is everything the client has requested.
There are several freelance writers out there; I don’t claim to be the only one. However, I differentiate myself from most by providing freelance writing services and the promise of a friendly working relationship with open lines of communication.
I’m easy to get ahold of via email or phone call; I provide over-the-phone full revisions of work that needs touch-ups based on client instruction; I am easy-going and personable; and, unlike many freelance writers, I provide freelance writing services full-time, which allows me to be there for clients during working hours 9-5, as opposed to part-time freelance writers who do projects on the side, who are difficult to contact and need longer turnover time.
