About
I’m Sal.
When I’m not walking my dog, catching the game or spending time with friends and family, I’m providing small businesses with eloquently written freelance copywriting solutions for their websites and blogs.
About Me:
I was schooled in advertising — practiced in blogging and writing small business web copy.
My hockey blog — TheHockeyDaily.com — is a FOX Sports affiliate that earns thousands of monthly views, and I’ve written web copy for several industries. Here’s a list of the industries I’m referring to:
Construction, Masonry, Floral, Health, Organic Juice, Security, Online Dating, Jewellery, Hockey, Classifieds, HVAC, Massage Therapy, Telecommunications and Real Estate.
I’m an entrepreneur, just like my clients. And I’m a copywriter, which they are not. If they were, they wouldn’t have hired me. The point is, I’ll help your small business website convey a reader-friendly, quick-registering message to a target audience that will either be wowed by the right words or put to sleep by the wrong ones.
Wow sells.
Unless you deal in mattresses, sleep doesn’t.
It’s often the little things — tricks of the trade, if you will — that make a small business website, blog or advertisement memorable enough to grab a consumer’s attention and inspire that consumer to make a purchase.
I work hard. I know the tricks, too.
These tricks I speak of, they’re not magic tricks, just things I’ve learned while publishing more than seven-hundred original articles online, an ebook on Amazon, and target audience friendly small business web content.
Clients don’t hire me solely because of my writing — some can write, too. But a company website, blog or advertisement is not a college essay. Writing compelling web copy to an online audience is entirely different than writing a blog, which is different than writing an ad, and so on.
I can provide website content with search engine optimized keyword strategy.
I can take that long blurb you wrote about your business, shorten it by half, make it work twice as hard and read more clearly.
And, I provide an outsider’s perspective that makes it easier for me to think the same way your target audience does. After all, it’s the target audience who need to love your web copy. They’re the ones who’ll be swayed if it cleanly conveys how your product or service is beneficial.
Conversely, when consumers read bad copywriting (if they can get through it): they may become so bored they’ll never give your products or services the opportunity to shine — because your company’s great selling feature will have been lost in translation.
Truthfully, bad copywriting is worse than none at all. It’s better to look pretty and say nothing than it is to make a bad impression by saying the wrong things.
Lastly, I have respect for my clients and myself. Therefore, I take pride in my work. I’m a small business owner, too. I know it isn’t easy out there for us who’ve chosen to work for ourselves. And I know that the words I write for a clients’ website, blog or ad can make a positive difference for their business and mine. We’re both after the same thing: small business success, doing what we love to do.
That’s what I’m all about. If your business needs a copywriter, my name’s Sal Ientile. You can contact me by filling out the Contact Form or by giving me a call. My number’s 6478663757.
